…updated my Etsy store. I just have baby and engagement announcements at the moment (along with a thank you card), but as always, I can customize. And I’ll add holiday cards when…oh, when there’s a holiday afoot.

bloggy giveaways - free photo card design
Entry to this giveaway is now closed. Thanks to all who entered!
I’ll make this short and sweet… I’m giving away one free photo card design! Go to my etsy store and take a quick look around. To be entered to win, simply leave a comment on this post - any comment.
It’s really simple - I’ll create a customized photo card for you, using one of my designs, and you’ll receive a high-resolution file that you can keep forever. You print them either from your home or from your favorite photo place. You can choose from either a 4×6 or a 5×7.
I currently have baby announcements, engagement announcements, change of address/moving cards, birthday photo invitations, and a few holiday cards (still there from Christmas!). Any design can be tweaked to fit any occasion.
Hope you win!
Oh, and go to Bloggy Giveaways for hundreds of drawings for FREE STUFF…

more! more photo cards than you can stand!
I’ve added more photo cards to my shop. I now have some engagement save-the-date photo cards (or whatever you call them), children’s birthday photo invitations, moving/we-have-a-new-address photo cards (or whatever you want to call them), and I’ve tweaked some of the baby announcement photo cards.
On the horizon are some grown-up birthday photo cards (I feel weird saying “adult birthday photo cards” because that just sounds, well, weird), baby and wedding shower photo cards, and possibly some graduation photo cards. You know, after my child’s birth and becoming fluent in the local language here, when I have nothing else to do.
Who knows, maybe I’ll break ground with some Columbus Day cards or some celebrate-our-dog’s-christening cards. I’ll keep you abreast.

’tis the season!
We have been insanely busy this past week. We’ve had house guests for the past few weeks; new expats who have moved here and are now in the process of furnishing their own place. One of Kabob’s jobs here is to help new arrivals with their residential and business needs, and he loves it. But it is exhausting. He has been all over town the past two weeks, dealing with realtors, electric companies, phone and internet companies, government and visa offices, furniture stores, and landlords. In another language. He’s been such a hard worker, and I’m so proud of him.
This means I’ve been super-busy spinning the plates at home, getting pee sprayed on my foot (Chickpea’s, not mine), doing mounds of laundry, bulk cooking for the upcoming birth, festive-ing our home for the holidays, and sitting down every 5 minutes because I can no longer cross my legs, much less be on my feet all day long.
But I’m not complaining. Things are going well with us; we’re happy here in our home. We’ve been doing our advent calendar made by Kabob’s grandmother, we’re doing a Jesse Tree for the first time, Chickpea is discovering the joy of sprinkles on sugar cookies, and we’ve watched The Polar Express three times already (guess who’s choice that is). I love this time of year.
I might be blogging less and less over the next few weeks, depending on Garbanzo’s arrival. Either that, or I might be blogging non-stop out of boredom waiting for him to show up - we’ll see. But I’ll now get to the original reason I wrote this post in the first place - I’ve finally posted some baby announcement designs at my store! There’s only five right now, but I’ve got more coming. I’ve also got “we’ve moved” cards on the way. Since I know 18-jillion families with new babies, I thought it might be a good idea.
Alright, off to start dinner!
