We are off for the weekend! We’re traveling with Kabob’s parents to a nearby country for some relaxation on the beach. Unfortunately, there’s a 30% chance of rain, and the highest the temp will get is in the upper 60s. I suppose being from Oregon, Kabob’s parents will feel right at home.
Have a great weekend!

Finally! Let’s just say that this weekend, I was sent to serve time in Blog Purgatory, because I was floating in between worlds and tortured. But I think everything’s squared away now. And now I want to not look at CSS, FTPs, or PHP for a loooooong time.
But yay! My three years of posts aren’t lost. That’s happy.

I know it seems like I’ve been absent the past few days, but I really haven’t. We just had major issues with our web host - in short, they mysteriously “lost” a bunch of our files. Posts that I’ve written, layout thingys and artwork… just vanished. That’s why five or six posts that I had written are no longer present. So I’ve had a ball dealing with all this the past few days, and let me tell you, it’s been tons of fun.
So I actually need a break from el computador. I also want to step back and spend a lot of “spare” time in prayer this week for people here - family, friends, and neighbors.
All this to say… I probably won’t be writing much this week. But I’m still here, and we’re doing just fine. And I’ll be back on here soon!

FYI - there are new photos uploaded on Flickr. I haven’t edited the names or added any descriptions yet, but hey, I’m doing the best I can. We have TONS to sort through.
Enjoy!

I have a ton of photos to upload from the past few weeks, and it’s my usual style to wait to edit photos until I have a mountain to do, thereby procrastinating the somewhat tedious task. So instead, I’m going to upload 10 to 20 a day for the next few days.
So this is me saying - there are some new photos on Flickr. These were all taken by my dad, and I’m so glad he took so many. After living here almost a year, you forget what’s interesting and photograph-worthy. It’s helpful to have photos taken by a guest.
Oh, and the photos here are funny signs from around this area. Again, helpful to have an out-of-town guest to see these things…
