simple mom

I wrote about a cool cyberspace feature I found recently. On my other blog. You might already know about it, since I tend to be the last person to find out about certain things.

So I wanted to let you know of my other new blog, Simple Mom. I was finding my interest growing in certain “domesticated” subjects as I learned about them, and a major way I internalize and digest things for myself is through writing. I wanted to write about them here, but it seemed like it would start muddying this space that I’ve reserved for journaling about our family and cross-cultural living. I got a really sweet deal on another domain name and hosting, so I went ahead and started Simple Mom.

So… If you want to bookmark it and/or subscribe to its feed, please do. I’d love interaction, if you want, and ideas for writing, if you have any epiphanies. On the outset, my general plan is to blog about personal finance, cooking and meal planning, early childhood education, home organization, frugal living, and linking to helpful sites around the internet. All topics will have a bent towards making life simpler and more organized.
