We had a great time camping this weekend. Our anniversary isn’t for two more weeks, but it’s just before we leave the country, so we’ll be swamped then. A helpful hint: if you plan to camp in Texas in October or November, make reservations. Apparently that’s the busiest camping season at the state parks, and they’re usually booked several days in advance.

We ended up calling all over the place to find something – our final destination was Lake Texana in exciting Edna, Texas. It was a fun time.
