Tonight, as we were playing make believe on the couch…
CHICK: Okay, Mommy, I’m going to be in trouble, and you’re going to be in Spanish.
ME: What? You’ll be in trouble and I’ll be in Spanish?
CHICK: Yes. It’ll be fun.
ME: Why will I be in Spanish?
CHICK: Because Spanish is good.
The other night while reading a Dora book I asked Cody if he wanted to count in English, Spanish, or Mandarin. He chose “sandwich”.
