Consider this your trusty guide to what mamas I’m loving these days in Bloggityville…

• I have tried no less than eight scone recipes in the past four years, and I’ve decided that this one is my all-time favorite, from Large Family Logistics (and yes, I know I don’t qualify. Shush.). It’s the easiest recipe, too – because as the post says, what’s a scone but a glorified biscuit? It has become my standby Saturday morning recipe. The definite key is to not overmix and to make sure the butter stays chunky. Mmmmm. Enjoy.

• When I need a good story, I go to Planet Nomad. She’s a great storyteller, a great writer, and she’s got plenty to write about – she lives in Mauritania with her family. I especially loved this one recently.

• If you don’t read Holy Experience daily, ohmydeargoodness, you are missing out. So refreshing, so encouraging and uplifting, and very well-written to boot.

• Rocks in My Dryer is always a fun read; she also started a new collaboration called Blogging Basics 101, for those of you who still don’t like me to know what’s going on in your life might want to start blogging, but aren’t sure where to begin.

• When you’re up to your elbows in diapers and time-outs, who doesn’t love a theological discussion about complementarianism vs. egalitarianism, or what it means to be missional? Molly at Adventures in Mercy does. And I enjoy it, too, actually, when I need a short break from two-year-old speak. She never shies away from the difficult or controversial – her blog, and the places she links me to, have made me dismember my theological boxes more than I ever expected the past few months. She’s very well-read with a heart of gold.

• And finally, when I need a good laugh, I go hear what BooMama has to say. Always great. This made my day yesterday.

So there you have it. Back to organizing my craft box and deciding whether my glue gun and glitter really need to head overseas with me (I’m pretty sure the answer is no.)

What a great compilation of links! And thank you so much for the undeserved kind words. :) Hope you were able to figure out whether your craft box goes or stays. :)

Hey, Molly the Great (hee hee)! I really do admire you that much. Truly. And yes… my craft box did not make the final cut. Just as well.
