• 2 loads of laundry
• 2 chapters to finish
• 3 cameras to prepare
• 1,800 snacks to round up
• 2 blankies to remember
• 5 plants to water
• 20 cloth diapers to strip (don’t ask)
• 4 people to pack for
• 4 empty stomachs ready to be filled with cheese
• 31 hours, and
• 1,400 miles…

…until we arrive in PARIS!  Today we’re packing, laundering, cleaning, and refraining from giddiness in general before we leave tomorrow.  This is the first, 100 percent, just-for-fun vacation we’ve had since our honeymoon.  Seven years ago.  We’re excited!

Have a great Thanksgiving, and though I may not post photos during our time there (I hope to be as offline as possible), I will definitely post them when we return.
