She should go ahead and reserve my spot at the nursing home
A few mornings ago, I was in the bathroom brushing my hair.
- CHICK: You look like your mom.
- ME: Really? I look like Nana?
- CHICK: Yes, you have blonde hair, too.
- ME: Well, neither Nana nor I have blonde hair.
- CHICK: (she looks at my hair up close) Never mind, it’s not blonde. It’s white.*
*meaning my lovely, post-30 sprinklings of gray hair
My son often calls me “Me-Ma” with a wicked little grin. So maybe we can be neighbors in the nursing home.
okay, she is super funny!!! Happy late bday to you!!!!!!! just tell your daughter to sign me up in that nursing home with you
oh wait…did i miss it or is it still going to happen? since moving overseas i can’t find anyone’s birthday!!
