When the house is too quiet, something’s up
So my mother-in-law and I were out shopping when Kabob stayed home with the kids. It was quiet upstairs.
A little too quiet.
Snip. Snip.
He trots upstairs to find this in the bathroom:

And the victim culprit, standing helplessly nearby.

It took more than three years to successfully grow Chickpea’s hair out evenly, so that it was all the same length.
But alas, it was in vain.

Actually, I think it salvaged itself rather cute.
A rite of passage for many of us, I suppose.
And oh yes, there’s a few more new photos on Flickr.

If she had to do it, I guess that was the best case scenario! The bangs are actually cute! When Munchkin cut her hair last year (it really must be a right of passage…I’m just hoping she doesn’t ever try to cut her sisters!) it was right on the side of her head.
Allison JUST did this like 2 weeks ago – same thing – she found our scissors in my bathroom drawer and I found the hair she cut in one of her bags. It wasn’t as noticeable as Chick’s maybe but it was about as much. Those girls.
I did this to myself when I was little. Apparently I had very straight hair and badly coveted my mom’s & brother’s curly hair (which both happened to be short), so I thought if I cut my hair it would get curly. Sad to say, it didn’t work.
