Definitely use both fabrics together! Bold, bright, better. Let your creativity know no bounds, and let you fingers do their best to keep up! Swathing and tacking and whatever it takes to splash around some color.

I re-boot by being creative, too. God is the Ultimate Creator, and He made us this way! Thank you, God, for this enormous blessing. : )

i love the two fabrics together. i think it’s perfect. and i am really excited that you will get to do some creative…um.. creating! It IS important. that’s why i started a blog, because as a new mom i think that’s about all i will have time for, for awhile (and i barely have time for that, at the moment!). anyway, maybe someone on your team has a sewing machine you could borrow. i miss you guys!

I’m pretty sure real women don’t need a sewing machine. Thimbles build character.

I think those two fabrics go very well together.

I’ve been feeling the same way lately, especially after moving into our new place. We’re in dire need of a painting/gluing/hammering/drilling/sawing/knockingthingsdown day. I agree that it’s super-important to dive into your creative side; I would expect nothing less from you .

Wow! What a steal! I do like all your choices as well, especially the stripes. If the colors really do match pretty well, I don’t see why you shouldn’t use both, but if you’re going to choose only one…I say go with the stripes! ;o)

Don’t ya just love thailand? especially for things like that. when we left thailand, everyone on my team brought home enough silk to make duvet covers. Since I have no craftiness in my being, i settled for the pre-made stuff. Sorry I can’t help you with figuring out whether or not the fabrics go together. I’ve got no skills there either. I do really like the kitchen fabric and the one for the little man’s room. I enjoy knowing people that can appreciate engrish phrases like that. I remember buying some stationery there that said something like “my heart is aflame when i look in your eye.” i bought it for rocky of course.
