Like our ghetto serving tray? It’s new.

Most of you know that we’ve been dealing with a fun case of walking pneumonia all week. Chickpea was diagnosed after spending all afternoon at a nearby hospital on Thursday, and she’s already doing much better. Needless to say, I haven’t done much all week expect play nursemaid and devoted Mommy. Which I realized I am blessed to play, and why today I get to celebrate Mother’s Day. Today we went on a little gondola ride and took a few photos, which I just uploaded on Flickr. (I need to upload more, but I don’t have the time at the moment.)

The day’s not over – when Chickpea wakes up from her nap, we’re going to a local restaurant, interestingly named Tex-Mex. I was told not to get my hopes up. This is probably true, especially since I’ve been craving a Chuy’s chicken burrito with deluxe tomatillo sauce and creamy jalapeno ranch on the side (Why do I torture myself like this? Why?). I will give you a full review as soon as I’m able.

And to all you many mothers out there – a very happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day Tsh! You are doing a great job of keeping us posted on all the goings on. Isn’t it funny……not matter where you are and what your circumstances…..you will always be a mom! It truly is a blessing like none other. Glad to here that the little one is feeling better.
Please pray for us this week as we are 1 week out from the wedding and it has become STRESS Central around here. Kristin and I have both been really sick and I got into poison ivy and have had an unbelievable allergic reaction. You can ask you mom! My legs are soooooooooooo gross!!!
Anyway… I know your day was a special one. Miss you and love to get the updates.
    Take care. Love, Debbie
