Umm... I honestly don't remember deleting a post (or comment, I'm guessing you meant). So it was probably a mistake if it happened! Sorry about that.

Why did you delete my last post? Did you find that it was critical of your post?

Paris is the BEST! I've been a few times, both for business and pleasure. My best frugal tip is to know how to ask for 'tap water.' The underground system is great, and I'm sure you'll find it simple to navigate. I've had bad experiences with taxi drivers, but then again I know very little French. Please have some French onion soup, some crepes, some Paul's (it's a chain, but their food is divine). But you don't need any tips from me - you already know not to pass up the pain au chocolat, so you're good to go!

oh - Paris - lovely! I will say - plan your museum visits very carefully! It's been 10+ years since I was able to visit Paris, so these memories are foggy at best, but seems like the majority of the museums were closed one day a week (I'm thinking Mondays) so we did other things on Monday...then planned to see the Louvre on Tuesday, except it was the anomaly and was open on Mondays & closed on Tues (or whatever the days were) - so then we were going to go on Weds, except the workers went on strike on Weds and the Louvre was closed & that was our last day in Paris...I was devastated!

However, the rest of Paris was WONDERFUL! And best of all, I got to share it with my parents who came over to help me pack up and move back to the States after a semester in Germany...it was still a fabulous trip.

Hope you guys have a blast!

SO FUN!!! Oh my goodness, we really need to chat and catch up soon. ;o)
I'm so excited for y'all. What a great time. The closest we've been to Paris is the airport. It was a bugger too.
