So Chickpea’s latest phrase she’s digging in to the ground is “have you noticed?” She’s using it with everything.

Just today, I’ve heard:

• Have you noticed that I’m your daughter?
• Have you noticed that I’m your daughter, that Garbanzo is your son, and that Daddy is your husband?
• Have you noticed that I love you?
• Have you noticed that Garbanzo is kinda stinky right now?
• Have you noticed that it’s a beautiful day?
• Have you noticed that I really, really, really want some gum?
• Have you noticed that Jesus is God?

And so tonight, after she prayed for her friends and said “amen,” she said, “Oh wait! I forgot to pray about something else!” I told her to go ahead:

“Dear God. Have you noticed that Jesus is God? I just want you to know that. Amen.”
