Oh no, here we go
I sat next to Chickpea on the couch this morning:
- CHICK: Hey Mom! Diego’s coming on! (she leans in to whisper) He’s really handsome.
Seriously? At four? I didn’t know she even knew the meaning of the word “handsome.”
Watch out, Josh – you’ve got some pretty high standards to meet.

Hum…maybe Chickpea should ask Josh about Genevieve. He’s been talking about her for a couple of weeks and yesterday his teacher confirmed that they are friends. She’s a free spirit who makes me think of those long haired girls twirling around at Woodstock that you see in the Time Life commercials. (Is it weird that a 3 year old makes me think of that?) Don’t worry Chickpea, I’m sure he’ll come running back to you once he gets burned by the “bad girl.” Silly Josh.
