Okay, be honest…

…what do you think? I’m still iffy about this, so I want your complaints suggestions. I’ve heard from too many of my PC-using friends that say my iWeb blog was too slow and difficult, and that it looked weird on their bloglines. This is still very much a work in progress, and I can put it back to the old site with a click of a button. But I’m loving WordPress so far.

The one main bummer in all of this is that I couldn’t transfer over all your comments. Don’t take that personally – I value each and every one of your thoughts, and if I had 800 hours, I’d personally cut and paste each one over here. But I don’t. I’m sure you understand.

Oh, and you probably need to update your RSS feed.  Again.  I’m so sorry about that.  I’ve got buttons on the sidebar to the right, if that helps.

So. Good, or not so good?

hmmm…mostly good. ;o) If we’re being picky, I do sort of like the old layout better, but it was a little slower. I’m not sure how to access all your pics now either, and that could be problematic for Mallory. Is there something special I need to click on to see them all, or have you just not put them all on here yet?

If you go to photos up top, you should click on the photo listed and it will take you to the old photo pages – I’m keeping the photo pages the same as before.

Yeah, I agree with you, I like the old layout better, but it was driving me crazy. If iWeb gets their act together, maybe I’ll switch back. I did really like it.

Sorry, but this is one very boring blog page. VERY PC. Really you should be ashamed at yourself for going this direction and letting all those PC people do this to you! (just kidding – but really it’s very PC)

You know, if I cared mostly about design and the look of my blog, then yes, I’d be in total agreement with you – as a Mac-devotee, I should be ashamed of myself. But really, Mac should be “ashamed” of itself for the poor quality of iWeb for blogs. It’s a good web design program, but THAT’S ALL. Not yet a good blog program. I appreciate your comment, as candid and blunt as it is, but I’m staying here. Once iWeb becomes faster and more HTML-friendly, which will allow me to do tons more things, then I’ll reconsider. No one bullied me into changing – I decided to on my own.
