It wasn’t long after I hit “publish” on my last post that our computer fritzed. I’m on our very old-school computer right now, just enough to check e-mail and post this little newsworthy item. Kabob is over at our American friends’ house who live a few blocks away, using their U.S. line to call tech support (our U.S. phone number is connected to our computer).

So this means, alas, that right now we’re basically out of touch, both via phone and computer. It really stinks right now. I know it sounds silly, but please pray the computer boots up again, because along with lots of stuff on it, it really is our only means of contact with the “outside world.” And that means a lot these days.

Thankfully we backed up our harddrive just a few weeks ago, so we don’t think we lost too much, if at all. But the bummer thing is, we may have to send it to the States, and there’s no telling when we might get it back.
