Questionable Theology

On her God complex:

This morning, as Chickpea, Garbanzo, and I were heading out to the local market with the stroller, Chickpea said, “I remember when I had this stroller when I was a baby.” (It’s a different stroller.)

“Oh yeah?” I asked. “Yep. And I was born in a manger. I remember that, too.”

On Guilt:

Then later that morning, she said, “Mommy, don’t feed Garbanzo again. That will make God sad.”

On the Center of Her Universe:

And finally, this afternoon she was singing: “God made the rainbows. And the candy, and the lollipops, and the toys, all for me.”
