• ME: Chickpea, do you want to work out with me?
• CHICKPEA: Sure, but can we go to high school first?

• KABOB: Chickpea, ready to go to the store?
• CHICKPEA: Can we go to high school on the way?

• CHICKPEA: Mommy look, those boys are playing soccer!
• ME: Yep, that’s right.  It looks fun, huh?
• CHICKPEA:  Do you think we can play in high school?

And about five minutes ago…

• CHICKPEA: Daddy, can I wear these clothes to go to high school?  (She’s wearing pink shorts and her “I’m a Big Sister” t-shirt)

We have NO idea where this is coming from, or where she even heard of high school in the first place.  But apparently she’s ready to skip kindergarten and all that other stuff in between, and just head on in to 9th grade.
