Two conversations I’ve had with Chickpea in the past few days…
ME:Â Are you all done with your dinner?
CHICK:Â Yes.
ME:Â You didn’t eat very much.
CHICK:Â That’s because it’s really, really, really yucky.
And then yesterday…
CHICK:Â Mom, what are you doing?
ME:Â I’m working on our budget.
CHICK:Â What’s a budget?
ME:Â It’s how we decide what we should do with our money.
CHICK:Â But we don’t have any money.
