We wouldn’t know how to function without her, apparently

    • CHICK: Mom, can I watch a movie?
ME: Sorry sweetie, the TV’s broken at the moment.
    • CHICK: Can Daddy fix it?
    • ME: He tried. He can’t figure it out.
    • CHICK: I know! I’ll ask George [our doorman] to fix it. I can speak [language spoken here], you know. I’ll find him and say in [language spoken here], “George, my daddy can’t fix the TV. Can you do it?” And he’ll say in [language spoken here], “Yes. Yes I can.”

    Oh that’s good!
Our three year old thinks that if Dad can’t do it, his Grumps (my Dad) can fix everything, no matter how broken it is :)
