So, if you remember my talking about possibly turning a new page – well, it turns out I was right. Chickpea has not worn a diaper since that fateful day, even at nights, and has only had two very minor accidents in about a week, neither of which were at night. I’m blown away.

It shouldn’t surprise me with our headstrong, independent girl that potty training was an on-off switch – she just had to decide she was ready. And she does it all by herself; from the going to the bathroom to the drying of her hands. In fact, most times she’ll kick me and Kabob out.  Well excuse us for wanting to help.

So hooray!  We can cross that milestone off our list.  In a span of two weeks, Chick weaned from her paci, gave up her naps (and switched to “quiet times”), got her first haircut, and swore off diapers.

I think we’ve got a big girl on our hands.
